The Bobby Scheme, supported by Hampshire Constabulary and Hampshire Fire and Rescue, is a practical service which aims to bring peace of mind to the vulnerable and elderly, providing reassurance or restoring a sense of security within their own home particularly after a burglary. Improving home security also decreases the risk of future crimes. Proceeds from the Blue Lamp Trust’s driver training and taxi driver services go into funding the Bobby Scheme.

EVENTS

The Blue Lamp Trust attends a number of meetings and events over the course of the year to raise awareness of the Bobby Scheme, to improve community safety and to promote the Blue Lamp Trust’s activities. We also organise several of our own events, including our Road Safety Conference and ‘Meet the Chiefs’.
